The Los Angeles Lakers roster is much different from last season. There are only four players from last year’s team returning as Frank Vogel is going to be tasked with balancing a completely new group of guys and discovering what the best-case rotation is for the team.
While the rotation is up in the air, there definitely are certain rotation mistakes that we can pinpoint this early that Vogel should avoid making. Even in avoiding those mistakes, there are still plenty of x-factors for the Lakers this season.
Part of the x-factors is both the strengths and weaknesses of the team. It is going to be Vogel’s job (as with any head coach) to maximize the strengths while minimizing (or eliminating) the weaknesses.
We already touched on the potential areas of concern when it comes to the Los Angeles Lakers. Today, we look at the potential strengths of the new-look roster.
The strengths of the Los Angeles Lakers roster outweigh the areas of concern.
There are three big strengths that we can point to today before the season even starts while there are only two areas of weakness. Of course, things are bound to change, and the Lakers could have even more strengths or weaknesses that we did not expect.
The Laker will undoubtedly excel in these three areas, though.
