The Los Angeles Lakers are back in California as they take on the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. The Lakers are looking for their first preseason win while the Warriors are looking to stay perfect in the games where the outcomes don’t even matter.

This definitely is not the most prolific LA-San Francisco game that is taking place in the Bay Area on Friday. The San Francisco Giants are hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLDS, so it is safe to say that most Bay Area and LA sports fans will have their eyes on that matchup.

However, the die-hard Laker fans will be watching this one (and we commend you) and perhaps they will be betting on it as well. Let us help you out if you do plan on betting on Lakers preseason basketball.

Lakers vs. Warriors odds, spread, over/under and prediction:

According to WynnBET, the Los Angeles Lakers are three-point underdogs on the road against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers enter the game as +130 moneyline dogs while the Warriors are -150 moneyline favorites. The over/under for the game has been set at 224.5 points.

While picking the Lakers is always the easy choice, we have to be realistic with this one. The Warriors are a team that has a lot of set parts while the Lakers are a team that is still trying to figure things out.

The defense is a massive work in progress and the stars play such a limited role in the preseason. The Lakers are looking to keep the older veterans fresh as well, so we are seeing a lot of playing time for guys that are not even going to be on the team in two weeks.

If I was going to bet on this game I would ride the hot hand and go with the team that is undefeated in the preseason vs. the team that has not won in the preseason. It worked last time against the Phoenix Suns and it will work again here.

I am taking Warriors -3 and over 224.5 points with a final score prediction of Warriors 117, Lakers 110.
