Los Angeles Lakers: 2 rotation changes Frank Vogel already has to make

The Los Angeles Lakers are three games in the 2021-22 season and some fans are already hitting the panic button. While it is way too soon to panic, it did take the Lakers three games to win their first game of the season and the win was a result of Ja Morant missing a free throw.

This should have been expected. This is a completely brand-new Lakers team that only has three players returning from last year’s roster. It was going to take time to gel together and that can result in losses against good teams such as Golden State and Phoenix.

Throw in the fact that the Lakers are banged-up as well. Trevor Ariza, Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn and Wayne Ellington still have not made their Laker debuts. Those four will shake up the rotation significantly when they return.

Even before they return, though, there are already some rotation changes that should be made.

Frank Vogel should make three tweaks to the Los Angeles Lakers rotation.

With a new unit like this, there is going to be a lot of trial and error and the two tweaks that Vogel makes are not guaranteed to last. However, with what we have seen in three games, we can conclude that these tweaks are at least worth trying.
