The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ win:

Will LeBron James play in the next game because AD needs to sit out.

Here’s what Frank Vogel said about LeBron’s status via ESPN.

"“Questionable. Going to see how he feels,” Vogel said. “He’s just day to day, and he’ll get evaluated again tomorrow and see what the soreness is like and make a decision then.”"

PFFT! The man needs to be in the lineup against OKC. It wasn’t enough that Davis suffered multiple injuries, but he looked like he was dead tired at times during the game. With AD playing so many minutes with all of that pounding, LeBron needs to suit up.

The Los Angeles Lakers were very lucky to go to overtime.

The Lakers should have lost this game. Free throws have been huge the last couple of games. They barely missed overtime when Ja’ Morant missed a free throw to tie the game to potentially send it to overtime and the Spurs just was horrid.

They missed four straight in crunch time and Jakob Poetl, even though he destroyed the Lakers scoring in the paint missed a truckload from the free-throw line. As a team, San Antonio shot 12-22 from the line.

When Russell Westbrook collected his fifth foul with four minutes left, the plan was to get him back in with about two minutes in the game. However, there was no stoppage of play for Russ to return and that left Rajon Rondo in the game to execute some of the worst point guard play known to NBA basketball that nearly cost the Lakers the game.

Lake Show Life told everyone that Malik Monk would be the surprise signing of the season and well we tend to know what we are talking about. His huge shot helped save the day late.

In overtime…? Well, we’ll leave it here to let Russell Westbrook close things out.

No rest for the weary, the Lakers play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second game of a back-to-back.
