3. The dream-scenario Russell Westbrook trade

The final trade package for the Los Angeles Lakers to move on from Russell Westbrook is once again a two-team trade.

Admittedly, this is probably the least likely package out of the three, however, James and Davis have already had private discussions with this player about his future with his current team. Along with this, the Lakers have previously tried to trade for this player, but a deal was unable to be made.

This package sends Russell Westbrook, Rajon Rondo, a 2025 first-round pick, a 2027 first-round pick, and two 2023 second-round picks to Portland. In return, the Lakers receive Damian Lillard.

As previously stated, it would take a lot for this to happen, however, if things begin to go south for the Trail Blazers before the trade deadline and James and Davis are able to influence him to call it quits on Portland, it could be enough for him to force a trade similarly to how Davis had to force his way out of New Orleans.

While this would be a move that would cause a lot of controversy, it would almost certainly guarantee the Lakers bringing home their second championship of the LeBron James era. It goes without saying what all Dame would bring to this team. The only question is if the deal can be pulled off.
