Los Angeles Lakers vs Kings prediction, odds, TV channel
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Lakers have a quick rematch against the Sacramento Kings after falling to the division rivals in triple overtime last Friday. That loss is one of several ugly losses for the Lakers this season that the team is undoubtedly going to try and get back.
The Lakers have played one game since the triple-overtime defeat, beating the Detroit Pistons by four points on Sunday. While a win is a win, it is really hard to get overly excited about beating a team as bad as the Pistons by only four points.
Meanwhile, the Kings were blown out by the Memphis Grizzlies, which is what the Lakers should be doing to a team of the Kings’ caliber. Even after losing to the Kings on Friday, with the game being in Sacramento, Vegas still favors the Lakers in this matchup.
Los Angeles Lakers vs Kings odds, spread, over/under:
According to WynnBET, the Los Angeles Lakers are 3.5-point road favorites over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. The Lakers are -160 moneyline favorites while the Kings are +140 moneyline underdogs. The over/under for the game has been set at 226.5 points.
It is important to note that the Lakers have the worst record against the spread this season, coming in at 7-15. The Kings are not much better, though, coming in at 9-12 against the spread this season.
Los Angeles Lakers vs Kings prediction:
While the Lakers have looked really bad this season and I have been against putting too much faith in them, I have to ride with the purple and gold in this game. Yes, the Kings beat the Lakers less than a week ago, but I have a very important question as far as the betting pick goes:
Are the Sacramento Kings really going to beat LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers two times in a row? While they absolutely can, that does not seem like something that is going to happen.
This is terrible logic for a prediction but hey, it has been hard to predict the outcome of these Laker games as it this season. The line is not too high to scare me off of the Lakers and after losing to the Kings in triple overtime, the team should have some extra juice to get this game done in regulation as revenge.
I am going with Lakers -3.5 and over 226.5 points with a final score prediction of Lakers 119, Kings 113.
