After a three-day lay-off, the Los Angeles Lakers are back in action and host the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night. This is the second and last time we will see the Lakers take on the Celtics, with Boston taking home the victory the first time around.
The last time these two teams played it was LeBron James’ first game back from his abdominal injury and Dennis Schroder went off. Schroder had his best game of the entire season thus far against his former team and is going to look to replicate that in this matchup.
That win did little to give the Celtics any tangible momentum. Boston is 5-3 since beating the Lakers and has a 13-11 record overall. Meanwhile, the Lakers are 12-12 and are 4-3 since losing to Boston.

I am very hesitant in picking the Los Angeles Lakers just because they have been so unpredictable and have the worst record against the spread in the league this season. That being said, the team is coming off of some much-needed rest that will help revitalize them for a big matchup against their rivals.
Schroder is not going to go off in two consecutive games against the Lakers. We must give credit where credit is due but we all know how inconsistent Schroder is. We had to watch an entire season of it last season.

It will be a close game and if the line was Lakers -3.5 then perhaps I would take the other side to predict a one-score game. Instead, I am going with Lakers -2.5 and under 220 with a final score prediction of Lakers 112, Celtics 107.
