Laker fans must feel like they have a case of Deja Vu as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Sacramento Kings once more after beating the Kings in Los Angeles last week. This time around, though, the game will be played in Sacramento.

The Lakers have had two days off after coming back down to earth in the last game. The Lakers were riding a four-game winning streak and were seemingly playing good basketball but Sunday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies proved that the Lakers’ winning ways were only happening because the Lakers were playing bad teams.

The Lakers hope to get back on track on Wednesday against another team that many would consider a bad team in the Kings. They beat them last time and they hopefully should be able to beat them this time. Here is what Vegas thinks.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Kings odds, spread, over/under:

The Los Angeles Lakers are four-point favorites on the road over the Kings on Wednesday. This makes the Lakers a -175 moneyline favorite while the Kings check-in as a +145 moneyline underdog. The over/under for this game has been placed at 231 points.

The last time these two teams played the Lakers covered four points (winning by eight) and the over easily hit. The final score was Lakers 122, Kings 114.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Kings prediction:

While the Lakers did come back down to earth against the Grizzlies on Sunday I just do not see how this game is going to be any different than the last time these two teams squared off. In fact, there is reason to believe that the Lakers will win by even more this time around as the Kings got some contributions from hot role players who are inconsistent.

Of course, the Lakers have been very inconsistent this season as well and there is a decent chance that they don’t show up to play basketball on Wednesday night. However, with the team having two full days off, they should be going into this game with charged batteries ready to win.

I never feel totally confident in picking the Lakers against the spread with how they have played this season but this time it is different. Four points simply is not enough as I think the Lakers are going to win by double-digits.

I am going with Lakers -4 and under 231 points with a final score prediction of Lakers 117, Kings 106.

Los Angeles Lakers schedule and upcoming games:

The Lakers have two more days off after this game as they will likely take the short trip back to Los Angeles before flying out to Denver to take on the Nuggets on Saturday.

After that, the Lakers return home for a short two-game stint against the Utah Jazz on Monday and the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
