The Los Angeles Lakers did not make any changes at the NBA trade deadline and now the team’s best chance of making any sort of improvement is in the buyout market. While there are some interesting names on the market, the Lakers are not going to find someone who is going to significantly raise the ceiling of the team this season.

If the Lakers are going to realize their preseason potential as a contender then they are going to have to solve the internal problems. The chances of these problems being solved are slim to none, but one of the things that the Lakers can try is tweaking the rotation and giving certain players more minutes.

Frank Vogel has been tweaking the rotation all season and has not been able to field a consistent lineup or rotation all season. While this only adds to that problem, it is clear that certain players on the Lakers roster deserve more minutes.

There are three Lakers in particular who should be getting more minutes in the rotation.

Yesterday we broke down three players on the Lakers who should be getting fewer minutes as the season goes along. Some of those minutes should be going to these three players, who deserve bigger roles for how they have played this season.
