The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

The Los Angeles Lakers will regret the day that they were so cheap and petty when it came to hiring their coaches!

Magic Johnson wanted Ty Lue seven games into LeBron James’ first year. The Lakers said no and rode out the season with Luke Walton. The Lakers missed the playoffs and played much to the level they are now. Magic Johnson knew what was up and resigned. Smart man!

Then the Lakers thought they could hand Monty Williams a three-year deal and pick his staff. He left for Phoenix and is doing quite well these days.

They offered the same deal to Ty Lue. He turned down the deal and stayed an assistant coach with the Clippers. In other words, he would rather be an assistant coach with the Clippers who have not even gone to the NBA Finals over coaching the Lakers. Let that sink in.

They didn’t hire Jason Kidd but put him on the staff. Now he’s in Dallas building a winning playoff team.

The Los Angeles Lakers got what they paid for in Frank Vogel. A weak, corporate yes man that will model Lakers golf shirts for the next month and six days. This team is bad and he is not trying.

LeBron James is no leader, just a great basketball player with stats!

The Cleveland Cavaliers won in 2016 because of LeBron James’ talent, Kyrie Irving’s clutch gene and Ty Lue’s leadership. The end. Let’s stop fooling ourselves. LeBron is no leader. He was no leader in Cleveland and trust this writer he was way down on the totem pole in the Miami Heat locker room. That team belonged to Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. That along with Erik Spoelstra made LeBron a superstar player on the marquee.

Who cares that he scored 26 points? Reggie Jackson, who used to BACK UP Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City smoked the Lakers like a pack of Kools for 36 points while talking trash and doing the crip walk on the sideline.

When he was in the game the Clippers outscored “The team from Southern California” by 44 points. The only player that played with heart was Carmelo Anthony who’s knees and back are in a race to give out at any moment.

One more blowout and LeBron James is going to take himself out.

Take us out Chuck!!!
