The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of a big road win over the Cleveland Cavaliers as the team looks to hold onto its spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament. Wins have not come often for the Lakers since the All-Star Break and with the San Antonio Spurs lurking, it is important that the team picks up the wins while they can.

LeBron James had yet another exceptional game for the Lakers in the win as he has taken over the crown for the league scoring title this season. LeBron is playing out of this world and if the Lakers weren’t so bad he would be the front-runner for the MVP award.

The Lakers have needed more than LeBron’s heroics to win games, though. If all the Lakers needed was a good game from LeBron then they would have a much better record. The team needs other things to go their way to pick up wins in these games down the stretch.

In fact, each Los Angeles Lakers win has three common factors that must happen.

The Lakers are not a very talented team and unfortunately, they need almost everything to go right to win games, especially without Anthony Davis on the court. If the team is going to make the play-in then they need to ensure that these three factors are showing up more often than not in their 10 games of the season.
