Heading into the season, the Los Angeles Lakers‘ “big three” of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook was good enough to make the Lake Show the favorites to win the NBA Championship out of the Western Conference.

What actually happened was the Lakers’ season became a beautiful disaster. The season is not officially over for the Lakers but it might as well be with the team being eliminated from playoff contention.

The “big three” did not play like much of a big three at all. Anthony Davis missed more games than he played and early in the season when he was playing he was not playing very well. Russell Westbrook was predictably a horrible fit in Los Angeles both with his playstyle and how he restricted the team financially.

LeBron James was the only player who played well and played somewhat consistently. However, it became pretty clear by the time that March rolled around that LeBron was just worried about the scoring title.

Now, each big star in LA could leave the Lakers this summer.

Anything can happen this summer after such a disaster of a season that none of the three players should be ruled out of being moved, especially with all of the reports of frustration and dysfunction this season.

In the following pages, we will rank the star trio in LA but the likelihood of them leaving the Lakers this summer while also giving a percentage chance.
