Los Angeles Lakers: Pass or pursue 3 potential Anthony Davis trades
By Jason Reed
The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of the most disappointing season in NBA history and the front office is going to be hard at work this summer to improve the team to re-open the title-contending window.
Unfortunately for Laker fans, there is not much the team can do with Russell Westbrook’s contract hand-cuffing the team and not having much trade value. That won’t stop the team from trying, though, and the one hope is that the Lakers can improve in some way, shape, or form.
While it is unlikely, it is not impossible for the Lakers to trade Anthony Davis this summer. Rob Pelinka is not going to be outright shopping him but if the team gets the right offer then I wouldn’t be shocked if they consider it. After all, Davis hasn’t been able to stay healthy and that is not something that usually gets better for a big man as he approaches his 30s.
But what would an Anthony Davis trade package look like for the Los Angeles Lakers?
Trading Davis is an interesting idea and there are quite a few outlets that have proposed various Anthony Davis trades for this offseason. Andy Quach of NBA Analysis Network came up with three potential trade packages and as we have done with other proposed packages in the past, it is time to play pass or pursue on these potential deals.
