Jason Terry talks Lakers coaching, LeBron, AD, Russ and his new venture
By Ronald Agers
How do you feel being attached in some way to an all-time great like LeBron James with his detractors saying you beat him for the NBA title and the vicious alley-oop dunk in Boston?
Lake Show Life’s take:
In the 2011 NBA Finals, against the Miami Heat, Terry became a household name with averages 18.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.3 steals coming off the bench as the sixth man. In Game 5, his 21 points, 4 rebound and 6 assist stat line made him the first sub to record at least 20 points and 5 assists in a Finals game since Lakers icon, Michael Cooper in 1987.
But it was Terry’s game-high 27 points in the series-clinching Game 6 to claim his first NBA Championship that trollers and LeBron haters will live on in the NBA social media rotation.
Then there was this…(Lake Show Life loves you Jason!)…
But as Jason said in the interview, as long as people are talking about you its a good thing. It’s not like he’s alone in this club, LeBron James jumped over last year’s assistant coach, John Lucas III for a dunk.
Lake Show Life wants to congratulate Jason Terry becoming Head of Athletic Performance for Flexit, a virtual health and fitness company that provides guidance from the professional athlete, to the weekend warrior, to the person starting from the bottom trying to get healthy.
