2. Thomas Bryant

Thomas Bryant is someone who the Los Angeles Lakers should have never moved on from in the first place. Bryant had a breakout season in the G League with the South Bay Lakers and the team simply threw him away in a trade with the Washington Wizards.

There is actually an article out there on a different FanSided site where I forecasted that this would be a mistake for the Lakers. Bryant went to Washington, played really well and earned himself a three-year, $30 million contract.

Bryant played quite well in Washington as well. In his first 128 games with the team, he averaged 11.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in 22.8 minutes per game. Bryant was also able to stretch the floor, shooting 37.4% from three in 1.6 attempts per game.

However, injuries have held Bryant back over the last two seasons as he has only played a combined 37 games. With a deep center market and the position not being as important, Bryant is a prime minimum candidate this offseason.

The Lakers are already in on the 24-year-old, who is reportedly currently deciding between Los Angeles and the Toronto Raptors. The hope has to be that Pelinka will be able to lure yet another former Laker back to the team as Bryant would add a nice dynamic alongside Damian Jones.

If Bryant does choose the Raptors then Moses Brown becomes the priority.
