Fans got just a taste of Los Angeles Lakers Summer League action last week when the team played three games in the California Classic. Now, the Lake Show head into the main portion of Summer League in Las Vegas. The purple and gold will kickstart their Vegas games off against the Phoenix Suns.
There are some interesting players on the Lakers Summer League roster to watch. Second-round pick Max Christie and two-way signing Scotty Pippen Jr. are the biggest highlights on the roster. However, there are also G League standouts like Jay Huff and Mason Jones, as well as players looking to make a name for themselves like Paris Bass.
One familiar name the Lakers will be without in Vegas is Mac McClung. Los Angeles signed McClung as an undrafted free agent last season and he was recently poached by the Golden State Warriors to play on their Summer League team.
All in all, the Lakers are guaranteed four Summer League games in Vegas over the next week and if things go well, they could end up playing more. After watching an uninspired Lakers team play last year, the effort of the Summer League team is going to be a nice switch up.

3 sharpshooters the Lakers can still pursue in free agency
The Los Angeles Lakers have not added much shooting to the roster this offseason so the team might be looking at targeting a sharpshooter.
