3. Kevin Love

Unlike the rest of the players on this list, there is a chance Kevin Love would sign a bargain deal in an attempt to win another ring with LeBron. If Love is willing to take a veteran deal the Lakers should jump at the chance to add a player who has won a title with LeBron while playing a contributing role.

Kevin Love isn’t the star player he was when LeBron was playing in Cleveland, however, he is still a capable scorer who can contribute at a high level. Love would play well with Anthony Davis allowing the team to spread the floor while adding much-needed size to their rotation.

Davis could start at center and Love at power forward allowing both players to be on the court at the same time while improving the defense. Love may not be a great on-ball defender but his value offensively and rebounding outweighs any issues he has on the defensive end.

There is even potential for Love to join the Lakers sooner, as the Cavaliers buying him out of the last year of his contract is not completely off the table.

If Kyrie and Middleton are both uninterested in joining LeBron in Los Angeles the next best fit in free agency is Kevin Love. There is also an argument that if Love were willing to accept a veteran deal the Lakers could make moves to bring in Irving and Love reuniting the former Cleveland core alongside Anthony Davis.

Despite the fact, that all three players have aged bringing them back together alongside Davis in Los Angeles would be a star-studded team with a great chance to win at least one title.
