3. Winning with Russell Westbrook wouldn’t be the only accomplishment for LeBron this season

James is heading into a season where he will earn the scoring record if he is able to stay healthy for the majority of the season. Holding the all-time scoring record and putting up enough points to make it nearly impossible for anyone to catch is a great part of the GOAT debate in LeBron’s favor.

Imagine if James is able not only to set the record this season but wins a title with Westbrook as well. Such a season would have James back in the discussion as the best player in the league and clearly push him past any single season accomplishment that Jordan put together in his final seasons.

Near the same age, as Jordan was with the Wizards, LeBron would set the scoring record while winning a title with a player who no one has ever won with is far too much for even the strongest Jordan fan to ignore.

It is still a massive uphill battle for LeBron to accomplish this with Westbrook alongside him, but if he does, it is going to be one of the most impressive things he has ever done.
