The Los Angeles Lakers are off to a horrid start this season and with the Russell Westbrook trade rumors cooling off, potential Anthony Davis trade rumors have started to heat up. After all, a Westbrook trade is not going to suddenly turn this team around. A Davis trade could help the team reload with the future in mind.

Bill Simmons first sparked these conversations by saying that there is buzz that Davis could be available via trade. This has, in turn, led to NBA pundits around the media world putting together their hypothetical Davis trade packages.

Most of these packages have been pretty bad and would never be something that the Lakers would actually say yes to.

Is the Lakers trading Anthony Davis impossible? No. But the team is going to have a massively high price for the star forward, even with the injury concerns. While the other teams might not want to pay these prices, we put together three packages that LA would actually say yes to.

Anthony Davis trades the Lakers would actually agree to:

1. Swap for Kevin Durant

The Brooklyn Nets have been an absolute disaster this season and it would not be surprising to see Kevin Durant double down on his trade request from the offseason. The Nets were unable to get the kind of offers that the team was hoping to get in the offseason, so the asking price might be different.

If Brooklyn called Los Angeles and simply asked for a Durant-Davis swap the Lakers would be forced to think long and hard about it but ultimately, I think they would be inclined to make the deal.

Durant is better than Davis and while he also has his injury concerns (and is older), he would elevate the ceiling of this basketball team. Suddenly, if the Lakers are able to trade Westbrook for Myles Turner and Buddy Hield the team would be in a much better spot.

Durant would fit exceptionally well alongside LeBron James and while he does not have the same long-term future as AD, he would better help the team capitalize on its current title window. For the Nets, they would swap one unhappy elite player for a younger elite player that they hope to build around.
