The Los Angeles Lakers have hit probably the lowest point of the season, which is saying something considering they started 2-10.

LeBron James sat out Monday’s game against the Phoenix Suns for an “ankle injury” for the second time this season against a team that would expose his level of play. This was brought up against the Toronto Raptors when he left his teammates out to dry in a blowout…

"LeBron’s analysis? He mails it in when Anthony Davis is not around and it’s too tough.Maybe we need to start calling LeBron James “Street Clothes”.Now it’s time to show LeBron James who’s wearing the big drawers. LeBron should have played and not left his teammates out to dry. He didn’t take over in Cleveland and he wanted no part of the long-wing Raptors players chasing him all over the floor in this one. Say what you want about Russell Westbrook, but the man shows up every night to play rain, sleet, or snow if you want the mailman analogy."

Then get this, Russell Westbrook became a late scratch just before the game for “back issues”. The Los Angeles Lakers fanbase deserves better than this, and sadly this is the start of some very bad times for this franchise. Maybe Austin Reaves’ mom and dad should run the Los Angeles Lakers!

Austin Reaves sat out for ankle issues (Not like LeBron…he really hurt his!) and the rest of the roster got sent to the lion’s den to fend for themselves. Let’s just say this post-game report was finished by the first quarter. Phoenix ripped off an 18-1 run and the staff of Lake Show Life decided to honor Dandy Don Meredith with his famous song…

“Turn out the lights…the party’s over…”

The Phoenix Suns absolutely destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers, 130-104. This is a total official indictment on LeBron James. He knew what he was doing by missing this game and if he’s fooling anyone based on his history, this is becoming a situation of arrogance and selfishness. He knows Anthony Davis is gone for a long while and he is unwilling to shoulder the load for any extended period of time.

Get used to this passive-aggressive garbage he has done for over a decade to force a trade that is not coming. He made this bed, but all the Lakers fans that are waiting for him to earn his paycheck are going to be lying in it for the next 10-15 years. Sit back and watch…

But we have a game to analyze, but we will get back to this diatribe later.

The good from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

The Los Angeles Lakers players that showed the heart to show up and play in this game!

The Lakers had no chance of winning this game, but this Lakers website is all about effort and trying. This is a shoutout to all the players that participated without trying to get their sons into the NBA and manipulating the salary cap for big paydays. Yes, LeBron James, we are talking about you. Does it bother you? Take it personally and support your teammates. It is in the NBA superstar handbook.

Good grief, Lonnie Walker IV really sprained his ankle and he played!

Dennis Schroder…

To put this analysis in perspective, the Phoenix Suns broadcast team heaped praise on Schroder’s play in the third quarter. All of this was going on while the Lakers tried to make a push and cut the lead to 14 points.

Then Monty Williams called time out and Phoenix ran the lead back to 22 going into the final quarter. But Dennis Schroder played well under the circumstances. He finished with 30 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

The game ended…

Just in time to binge-watch Netflix with the wife!

Nobody got hurt!

The injuries are piling up. This post-game is not counting LeBron’s though…

The bad from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t stop Deandre Ayton!

Remember when Ayton destroyed the Lakers in the playoffs shooting close to 85-90 percent from the field? Well, he did it again scoring 21 points on 9-11 shooting. Add 11 rebounds to show complete dominance. He had a double-double by halftime.

The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t stop Chris Paul!

Thanks to LeBron James taking the night off to rest his hurting ankle, Darvin Ham had players like Scotty Pippen Jr. and Max Christie taking a chance of guarding Paul one-on-one. He had 14 points in the first 12 minutes and you knew Patrick Beverley…well forget it.

CP3 finished with 28 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t stop the rest of the starting lineup and Landry Shamet actually hit 3-point shots off the bench!

  • Torrey Craig: 17 points on 6-7 shooting. Add in  9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
  • Mikal Bridges: 20 points on 7-16 shooting. Add in 2 assists, a steal and a block.
  • Damion Lee: Fun fact…Did anyone know he’s second in the NBA in 3-point percentage? Yes better than Steph Curry! But he’s the guy’s brother-in-law. Instead of asking for his sister’s hand in marriage, Dell Curry probably handed him a basketball and see if he could hit a 27-footer! He had five shots from distance for 15 points.
  • Landry Shamet: Folks, even this guy’s shot was falling…he finished with 11 points off the bench.

Let’s get back to that LeBron James thing, shall we?

The story from the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss:

This game officially ends this G.O.A.T. conversation forever!

The NBA ended the debate with Michael Jordan, this website ends it with Kobe Bryant!

The staff of Lake Show Life is already on record stating LeBron James is on the decline. But it’s bigger than that. LeBron James is trying to control the narrative that he is one of the top players in the NBA which is impossible if this team stinks. With AD out, this season could be a wrap.

This is about leadership and character. Something thqtcKobe Bryant understood in the purple and gold. His last two years had him mired on a team that was worse than this one. Did he hide? No, he worked. Did he blame everyone else? No, he tried to push them to the next level.

Until this game, this writer couldn’t understand why Kobe fans were so irritated with the comparisons. This is why. LeBron James stans are not going to listen but take time to learn from this video from 2:30 to the 7:30 mark.

The last part of the listen will make you understand why LeBron James’ behavior is so egregious. Kobe didn’t hide.

For the ones that did not bother to watch the video, Kobe said sometimes you have to get over yourself. It’s not about you.

By the way, Kobe Bryant got paid $50 million over his last two seasons. LeBron might get that in one season before he leaves the Lakers. Let that set in.

Real Lakers fans miss Kobe Bryant. His presence on this planet and the style he played.
