3. Kelly Oubre Jr.

Kyle Kuzma is another prominent name in the NBA trade rumor mill this season that the Lakers are probably not going to be able to afford. Like Bogdanovic, there are naturally going to be other teams that are interested in Kuzma and can afford to trade more for his services.

That being said, the team is going to have to explore other wing options with Kelly Oubre Jr. being one of those affordable options. While his style of play is not totally comparable to that of Kuzma, he would essentially be a lesser version of Kuzma as an addition this season.

Oubre is not shooting great from beyond the arc this season but has shown the ability to hold his own as a serviceable shooter. He would be getting better looks on the Lakers than he is in Charlotte and with better shot selection that percentage could go up.

He is not the most efficient scorer and is not the best defender but he is someone who could give the Lakers another scoring option, particularly in an area of weakness. This is a team with very little size, especially at the wing, and Oubre would at least give them a true wing.

Oubre is on an expiring deal and his value is not that high so the Hornets are going to look to get whatever they can for him. Los Angeles should be able to add him for the price of Patrick Beverley and a second-round pick if they so desire.
