NBA trade rumors are heating up with the trade deadline just over a month away and the story around the Los Angeles Lakers seems to shift by the day. The Lakers have been teasing fans with the will-they, won’t-they reporting about their trade plans dating back to last summer.

If the team does make a trade, perhaps the most likely and first player they would trade for is Cam Reddish. Los Angeles has been tied to the recent lottery pick multiple times in the recent past and the New York Knicks are definitely shopping him now that he is out of the rotation.

There are several ways the Lakers and Knicks can work out a trade if Los Angeles truly is interested in making a trade for a young role player that might have a lot of untapped potential.

Here are 3 Cam Reddish trade packages for the Los Angeles Lakers:

1. The simplest Cam Reddish trade

This is the most vanilla Cam Reddish trade the Lakers and Knicks could make and probably the most likely. This definitely is not the trade package that the Knicks have in mind for Reddish but they are only going to be able to trade him for market value.

Reddish does not have that much value as a trade asset considering the Knicks are not even playing him and the likely price he will wind up at is a second-round pick. The Lakers have two of those to potentially offer but their own second-round pick is going to be more intriguing than a second-round pick from a contender.

Kendrick Nunn is around the same contract figure as Reddish and would probably be bought out the instance the trade went final. It is the most boring but it might be the trade Lakers fans should root for as it has them giving up the least assets.
