With the trade deadline a month away the NBA rumors have started to heat up. One of the most prominent teams in the rumor mill is the Los Angeles Lakers, especially with the team’s hot play as of late that has sparked new hope in the franchise.

Patrick Beverley has long been discussed as a potential trade chip for the Lakers with his fit not working as well as expected thus far. Since Beverley enjoyed a short stint with the Utah Jazz in between, the Lakers could trade him back to the Timberwolves without the re-acquire clause getting in the way. A two-team trade between the two parties is hard to work out but it becomes much easier once you include a third team.
