There is no arguing that Klutch Sports has an influence on the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James got Anthony Davis to Los Angeles after he signed with Klutch and the Lakers have made moves to do LeBron and his agency a favor.

It is not a coincidence that three of the earliest signings from last summer — Lonnie Walker IV, Troy Brown Jr. and Juan-Toscano Anderson — are all Klutch clients. Rob Pelinka is a former agent himself and understands the working relationship between agencies and franchises.

Thus, if the Lakers do decide to do something at the trade deadline this season, the team could potentially try and scratch LeBron James’ back once more and trade for more fellow Klutch clients. Whether or not the Lakers make a move is up to the front office but that does not change the fact that there are Klutch clients to be had via trade.

3 Klutch clients the Lakers could try and trade for:

1. Cam Reddish

The most likely Klutch client to be traded is Cam Reddish and the Lakers are one of the teams interested in trading for the recent lottery pick. New York’s asking price for Reddish is only a second-round pick so it becomes a smart risk for the Lakers to take a chance on a player with upside.

Los Angeles has some of the best player development in the league and Reddish has shown on multiple occasions that there is unlocked potential in his game. He is only 23 years old and could be a long-term piece for the Lakers as he should be cheap to re-sign as a restricted free agent this summer.

Reddish is not someone who is going to suddenly make the Lakers a title contender and the team might not even get huge contributions from him right away. But with two second-round picks in 2023, it makes sense to get him in the building now, get the benefits of having his Bird Rights as he is a restricted free agent and go from there.
