LeBron James taking on Ja Morant is about as entertaining of a matchup as you’ll find in the NBA, and I have a prop bet for both players on Friday night.

Ja’s Memphis Grizzlies are looking to win their 12th straight game, while LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to avoid a fifth loss in six games.

If you don’t want to bet a side in this game, going with a prop may be the best play, especially given the value on the board:

Grizzlies vs. Lakers best NBA prop bets today

  • Ja Morant UNDER 5.5 Rebounds
  • LeBron James UNDER 2.5 3-Pointers Made
  • Russell Westbrook OVER 19.5 Points

Ja Morant UNDER 5.5 Rebounds

Ja Morant has gone under 5.5 rebounds in nine of his last 10 games, so I’m fading him here even though he’s averaging 5.6 boards per game this season.

The Lakers play at a fast pace which should lead to more rebound opportunities, but Morant has picked up just seven rebounds in total in his last three games.

Roll with the UNDER for Ja on Friday.

LeBron James UNDER 2.5 3-Pointers Made

LeBron James has not shot the 3-ball well this season, shooting just 29.0 percent from beyond the arc.

LeBron has only gone over this 3-point prop 10 times in 35 games this season, failing to hit more than 2.5 treys in six of his last seven.

The Grizzlies are a strong defensive unit, and while they do allow 12.8 3-pointers per game, I don’t see LeBron having a great shooting night given his percentage on the season.

Russell Westbrook OVER 18.5 Points

Russell Westbrook has cleared over 18.5 points in six straight games for the Lakers, and he’s taken on a much bigger scoring role with Anthony Davis out of the lineup.

Memphis does rank No. 1 in the NBA in defensive rating this season, but it’s the usage that I love for Westbrook.

Russ has taken at least 14 shots in eight straight games, averaging 22.3 points on 17.1 shots per game over that stretch.

This number is still too low for Russ.
