The Los Angeles Lakers and Portland Trail Blazer will face-off in a game between two Western Conference teams who are near the bottom of the standings and are looking to gain some sort of momentum.

The Lakers are coming off a big 122-121 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, can they keep it up tonight?

Let’s take a look at the latest odds for the game and then I’ll give you my best bet.

Lakers vs. Trail Blazers odds, spread, and total

Lakers vs. Trail Blazers prediction and pick

The Lakers perimeter defense could be the difference maker in this game.

The Trail Blazers  rank ninth in the NBA in three point shot rate, with 40.3% of their shots coming from three point range. They may struggle in that area tonight when they take on a Lakers defense that’s sixth in the NBA in opponent three point field goal percentage, keeping teams to shooting just 34.6% from beyond the arc.

The Lakers also have a big advantage in the turnover department. The Lakers only cough up the ball on 13.4% of their possessions, which is the ninth best mark in the NBA. Meanwhile, Portland has struggled with turnovers all season, coughing up the ball on 15.3% of possessions, the third worst mark amongst all teams.

I’ll take the points with Los Angeles tonight.
