The Los Angeles Lakers return after a week away from action needing to put together a solid stretch over the last 23 games of the season. Los Angeles enters the second half as the 13th seed in the Western Conference needing to make up some ground.
There is a lot of excitement around the Lakers, who boast a new-look roster that is looking to make up for the shortcomings of the previous roster. Lakers fans only got to see the new-look team fully in action one time before the break, which was the last game of the first half.
But will fans be able to see that new-look roster back together in this opening game of the second half? LeBron James did suffer a hand injury during the NBA All-Star Game that could throw a wrench in these plans. Here is everything you need to know.
LeBron James injury status vs Warriors:
LeBron James has been listed as day-to-day for Thursday’s game against the Warriors due to the hand injury. That being said, James downplayed the injury when it happened, calling it a precautionary measure that he didn’t come back into the All-Star Game.
Barring a setback before tip-off, LeBron should be playing against the Warriors on Thursday. Every game matters at this point and he knows that.

The Lakers head into Thursday’s matchup with a clean bill of health. Anthony Davis is on the injury report as he continues to fully heal from the foot injury that held him out for over a month but that is nothing new. Davis has been on the injury report every game since he has returned.
Los Angeles has had very few games this season where the team was fully healthy. Hopefully, it can stay this way down the stretch.
