Lakers-Grizzlies: Who has the advantage in each individual matchup?

CONCLUSION: Grizzlies < Lakers

The Lakers took the regular season series, 2-1. With all things considered, they should take the postseason series as well.

As previously mentioned, Ja and his crew are a hungry bunch. There is no doubt that they are going to come out and give the Lakers everything they’ve got each and every night. They are going to scrap and claw on each possession. The Grizzlies are going to give the Lakers a run for their money.

But are we really ready to favor them over LeBron and AD? These are 2 of the top 10 players in the NBA, and Rob Pelinka has assembled a much more formidable infantry to support them since the start of 2023.

Beyond that, LeBron should be supremely motivated to survive as this could potentially be his last playoff run. AD should have an extra layer of motivation to silence his doubters. The rest of the team should just be motivated to prove themselves in the spotlight.
