After two games in Memphis, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Grizzlies for Game 3 in what will be the first playoff game in front of a full Lakers crowd in a decade.
The series is tied 1-1, which is great considering the Lakers were able to steal a game on the road but still feels like a disappointment. Los Angeles had a real opportunity to take a huge lead over Memphis with Ja Morant not playing in Game 2 and were unable to get the job done.
Morant injured his hand/wrist while attempting to go to the rim in Game 1 and his injury status could impact what happens in this series. Here is everything you need to know.
Ja Morant injury status for Game 3:
As it stands right now, the Grizzlies have not released whether or not Morant is going to play. He is expected to be a near-game-time decision with Taylor Jenkins and co. making the call after today’s shootaround.
Jenkins did say that Morant’s injury is in a far better place than it was in Game 2 but he is still struggling with certain aspects of the game. Even if Morant plays, it looks like he is going to be restricted in some capacity.

There are no new injuries to report for the Grizzlies but for those that are not aware, the team is dealing with several injuries on top of Morant.
Both Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke will be out for the remainder of the season. Jake LaRavia, who does not play much of a role in the rotation anyway, has also been ruled out for Game 3.
Full Lakers injury report vs Grizzlies:
After having a clean injury report for Game 2, the Lakers injury report for Game 3 does have some familiar faces.
Both LeBron James and Anthony Davis find themselves on the injury report but it is merely a formality. LeBron and AD are listed as day-to-day and are probable to play in Game 3. Fans should not worry whatsoever about them not playing.
Dennis Schroder is also on the injury report and is listed as probable. Schroder has been dealing with Achilles soreness.
