The Los Angeles Lakers host the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night in a game that could very well decide the series. With a win, the Lakers can jump out to a commanding 3-1 series lead that will be very hard for Memphis to come back from. With a loss, it becomes a best two out of three with two of the games in Memphis.

This series has so many storylines circling around it and has been one of the more compelling first-round series in the entire NBA Playoffs. From injuries to ejections to standout performances by role players, it has been a compelling series.

Ja Morant’s health was the big talking point of Game 2 and 3 with the star point guard missing a game before returning on Saturday. The question around if Morant was going to play has now shifted to another player on the Grizzlies after what happened in Game 3.

Is Dillon Brooks suspended in Game 4?

Dillon Brooks was given a flagrant two and swift ejection for a not-so-subtle cheap shot on LeBron James below the waist. Brooks was already making headlines in this series with his smack talk and he likely could not have any more of LeBron cooking him on Saturday.

Despite the NBA setting a precedence a week ago and giving Draymond Green a one-game suspension, the league will not be doing the same for Brooks. Brooks is not getting suspended by the NBA and will be suiting up for the Grizzlies in Game 4.

The Grizzlies will be as close to full strength as they can be in this playoff run. But what about the Lakers?

Updated Lakers injury report vs Grizzlies:

There are three Lakers on the injury report heading into Game 4 but nothing appears to be serious. Dennis Schroder (foot), LeBron James (foot) and Anthony Davis (foot) are all listed but are probable and expected to play.

LeBron and Davis being on the injury report is a mere formality as both players have been on most injury reports since returning from their respective injuries. Schroder has been dealing with some soreness that started late in the regular season but he has been playing through it and will play on Monday night.
