The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets are on a collision course in the Western Conference Finals, which is a rematch from the 2020 Western Conference Finals in the Orlando bubble. In fact, all four teams still standing in the NBA are the same final four from three years ago.

While that is obviously the No. 1 priority, the front office is already setting up a loose game plan to address the roster questions that the summer will present. In playing the Nuggets in a high-pressure playoff series, the Lakers could get an up-close look at some potential targets to add in the offseason.

3 Nuggets that could join the Lakers this offseason:

1. Reggie Jackson

The Los Angeles Lakers love to bring in point guards and there is a decent chance that the team may need to add point guards this summer. While the point guard play has been great this year, there is no guarantee that everyone will return.

The likes of D’Angelo Russell and Dennis Schroder are both free agents. If someone leaves and the team just needs someone to fill in some minutes off the bench and provide regular-season depth then Reggie Jackson would be a solid get.

Jackson has proven that he can be a true microwave scorer off the bench and is someone who can really deepen a regular-season rotation. At this point in his career, he is only worth the veteran minimum and could represent a nice bow on the top of what should be a solid offseason.

The Lakers got an up-close look at Jackson when he was with the Clippers, so there is already some familiarity there.
