Budget-friendly trade options for the Lakers:

Danilo Gallinari – 2023-2024 Salary: $6.8 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: N/A

Gallo lost his 2022-2023 season to a crippling ACL injury while representing Italy in the 2022 FIBA qualifiers. While he never had a chance to shine with the Celtics, it looks like the Wizards are going to keep him around for (at least) the start of 2023-2024.

Furkan Korkmaz – 2023-2024 Salary: $5.3 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 39.1

Korkmaz seemingly fell out of favor in the Philadelphia rotation a season ago. With that being said, he has never met a jumper he did not like and has given glimpses of the type of confidence levels that a true shooter needs in the NBA.

Seth Curry – 2023-2024 Salary: $4 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 40.5

LeBron’s public proclamations regarding his desire to compete next to Steph Curry may never lead to any actual partnership. However, that does not mean the front office cannot fulfill his wish of playing next to a Curry. Seth would be a logical fit given the gravitational force that his jump shot creates.

Corey Kispert – 2023-2024 Salary: $3.7 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 42.4

Heading into season 3 in the league, Kispert has very quickly blossomed into one of the more dangerous outside threats in the NBA. But regardless of his short time in the league, that does not change the fact that he is still a part of possibly the worst team in the league. Plus, he will be 25 in March so he is by far the eldest of the team’s compilation of wing threats.

Mike Muscala – 2023-2024 Salary: $3.5 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 39.1

Muscala’s first stint with the Lakers was a prime example of the Laker shooting curse. He shot below his career average from downtown, but that does not shift his status as a respected outside rifleman. If things do not pan out with Christian Wood, Muscala would be a bargain bin option for the team to turn to for frontcourt floor spacing.

John Konchar – 2023-2024 Salary: $2.4 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 33.9

Konchar might not boast the highest volume or outside shooting percentage, but that does not diminish his reputation as a solid 3&D option. If Zaire Williams can take a step forward this season, Konchar could see a decrease in minutes. If he becomes available, anticipate a lot of interest from teams across the league.

Jae Crowder – 2023-2024 Salary: $2 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 43.6

First, Crowder was unhappy in Phoenix. Now, he is unhappy in Milwaukee. If his dissatisfaction transitions into a distraction, it will not take long for the Bucks to look into offloading him. The Lakers would be happy to have him, as we have seen their inclination for teaming LeBron up with his on-court rivals.

Isaiah Joe – 2023-2024 Salary: $2 million | 2022-2023 3 Point%: 40.9

On such a low pay grade, Isaiah Joe and his jubilant jump shot are probably not going anywhere anytime soon. But analyzing the Thunder’s subtly stacked depth chart at the guard/wing spots could leave him looking for more minutes. It would not take a ton to get him, and he would probably be the Lakers’ biggest shooting threat if acquired.
