The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Eric Dixon, RJ Davis, Arthur Kaluma, and Augustus Marciulionis to Exhibit 10 deals, giving each of them a shot to earn the final two-way contract heading into training camp.
Although these players may just sound like filler names, they actually each have a shot at making an impact. With one two-way slot still open and the Lakers prioritizing cheap, long-term upside under the new CBA, one of these four could stick, so let the competition begin.
Eric Dixon’s comeback could be a game-changer
Let’s start with Eric Dixon. His hype after being signed did not go unnoticed. He was originally expected to sign a two-way deal with the Lakers after the draft, but a leg injury kept him sidelined through Summer League.
The contract never materialized, but the team clearly has not lost any interest. Dixon led the NCAA in scoring last year, averaging 23.3 points per game; he earned All-Big East honors and shot nearly 41 percent from deep. If healthy, he should be built to contribute.
RJ Davis turns heads in his NBA 2K26 Summer League finale
RJ Davis used Summer League to make his case. After a slow start, the UNC standout came alive in the final game in Las Vegas, putting up 17 points on efficient shooting while notching 3 dimes. Davis is experienced with five college seasons under his belt; he has also been awarded the 2024 ACC Player of the Year.
Arthur Kaluma’s frame screams upside
Arthur Kaluma brings physical tools the Lakers could mold. At 6’6” with a solid frame, he has defensive versatility and rebounding instincts. However, his offensive game is still rounding out.
Augustus Marciulionis is more than a name
Then there is Augustus Marciulionis, the least familiar name for most fans. The son of Lithuanian legend Sarunas Marciulionis, Augustus was the 2025 WCC Player of the Year at Saint Mary’s. A savvy playmaker with a steady handle, he missed Summer League with an injury but has a pro-ready feel.
Lakers have four hungry contenders
All four players offer something different, but the path is clear… impress in camp, and the two-way deal is on the table. Christian Koloko and Chris Manon are already locked into the first two.
The Lakers are leaving the last slot open for competition. It should be fun to see which of these younger guys are ready to step up.
