4 Dream trade deadline targets for the Lakers (and what they'd cost)

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the most confounding teams in basketball. This season, they have lost to teams like the Grizzlies and Spurs, while also owning road wins over contenders like the Celtics and Thunder.
This team is a confusing mess, and they could seriously stand to make some new additions at the trade deadline. Given the increased frustrations in the locker room, it almost feels like a necessity. Here we will look at four dream targets for the Lakers, along with what each player would likely cost them to acquire.
1. Bruce Brown
The talented combo guard who has already switched uniforms multiple times since winning a championship last June, Bruce Brown would be a huge help for the Lakers' backcourt. His creation abilities could make up for D'Angelo Russell's inconsistency, and Austin Reaves' somewhat disappointing season.
Yes, Brown is an NBA champion mostly because he played with Nikola Jokic. But he is highly skilled offensively with elite finishing ability and underrated passing chops as well. There is no doubt he would be a major boost in Los Angeles.
It has been reported that Toronto Raptors President Masai Ujiri has been asking for a first-round pick as the centerpiece for any deal involving his star guard. Along with the Knicks, the Lakers have been mentioned as one of the top potential suitors for Brown.
