The No. 7 seed is on the line on Tuesday night when the Los Angeles Lakers hit the road to take on the New Orleans Pelicans in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.

The Lakers are slight underdogs in this game, but bettors don’t have to just bet on a side in this matchup. In fact, there are a ton of prop bets to consider, including two that I love for this matchup.

Los Angeles blew out the Pelicans on Sunday to earn the No. 8 seed, and there are a couple of takeaways from that matchup that I think we can use in the prop market tonight.

  • LeBron James OVER 43.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
  • Brandon Ingram OVER 18.5 points

LeBron James OVER 43.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

LeBron James is defying any and all signs of slowing down at 39 years old.

Not only did he average 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game this season, but he also shot a career-high percentage from 3-point range.

I love James to have a big game tonight after he terrorized New Orleans for 28 points, 11 rebounds and 17 assists on Sunday. This is a massive game for the Lakers to guarantee a playoff spot, and James is 2-0 in the play-in tournament in his career.

Back in 2021, James dropped a triple-double on the Golden State Warriors in the play-in, posting 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 dimes. Last season, he had an arguably better performance, putting up 30 points, 10 boards and six assists to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves.

For those counting at home, that's 43 and 46 PRA in play-in games.

After closing out the regular season with three straight games over this number, don’t be shocked if LeBron has a huge game on Tuesday night.

Brandon Ingram OVER 18.5 points

Things are looking up for Pelicans star Brandon Ingram, who returned to the lineup on Sunday for the first time since March 21.

Ingram played less than 24 minutes in New Orleans’ loss, but head coach Willie Green expects that to change on Tuesday.

Despite the low minutes, Ingram was efficient on Sunday, scoring 13 points while shooting 6-for-9 from the field.

I have to imagine he’s more involved in this game, and if the minutes increase, I love him to clear his point total. Ingram finished the regular season averaging 20.8 points per game.
