If Ron Artest is going to tell LeBron James how he feels about the manner in which the self-proclaimed king publicly divorced the city of Cleveland then he’s going to do so on the court and not at a party in New York.
Seeking to clear the air on his likeness being used for party promotion, Ron Ron released the following statement.
"“I am in no way associated with the nightclub party that is being promoted in New York City on July 16th that disparagingly refers to a fellow NBA player. We are in the process of pursuing legal action against all entities involved who are using my name, image and likeness in an illegal manner without my prior knowledge or authorization.”"
Not that it matters but I don’t think it is very Ron-like to throw a party all in the name of beating a dead horse like LeBron. Come to think of it, if Ron was really going to rub it in LeBron’s grill he’d throw a party with admission limited to those with championship rings on their fingers.
Now that Ron has set the record straight on that matter, what’s up with the cell phone strip club video posted on Ron’s Twitter page this week? For Ron’s sake, I hope he’s gone to Starz in Gardena since moving to Los Angeles. If not, I’m sure we could organize a Hate-on-LeBron party for Ron Ron here on the West Coast too. One problem though, Starz doesn’t allow cell phones with cameras…or so I’ve been told.
