3. Optimism runs wild in Lakers Nation
It feels like many moons ago that the Lakers were embarrassed by the Jazz, leaving fans in disarray. Tonight marks the second solid outing in a row, with the tonight’s game ending in a victory.
While we discussed Lin, Davis, and Randle all had great performances, Price, Robert Sacre, and Wayne Ellington all had their best outings of the preseason as well.
And all of this was done without Kobe Bryant.
The Lakers may not be playoff contenders this year, but they’ll be fun to watch. Most importantly, they’re moving forward with a possible bright future, with Lin, Davis, Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Sacre all young and developing and possibly worth keeping long-term. And none of this is to mention Xavier Henry, Nick Young, and Ryan Kelly, all who will factor into this season.
