The hits keep on coming in LA, as the latest Lakers injury news sees Nick Young ruled out tonight against the Wizards after spraining his ankle in practice Monday.
Young already was in the dog house prior to this game, having been benched in the second half against the Houston Rockets for his lackluster play.
"“I asked him what were you thinking on this play and the answer he gave me I couldn’t figure it out. With his body language I figured he didn’t want to play tonight.”"

With Bryant already out and Young now out, the Lakers are down to bare bones. As is, Wayne Ellington is the only true shooting guard on the roster, with Jordan Clarkson and Jeremy Lin able bodies to play the position.
The Lakers are stuck in the middle of eight straight losses and 10 of their last 11, which makes the injuries that much more devastating. For a roster already struggling for talent, to lose arguably the most talented remaining player will severely further hinder their ability to get back into the win column.
For Young, the time off could serve as a good time to recollect himself. After going into Scott’s doghouse on Sunday, Swaggy P needs to respond positively. The issues brought up by Scott were valid, with Young not concerned with defense as much as he is with scoring.
Unfortunately for him and the Lakers, it doesn’t look like hardly anyone on the team is interested in defense.
The Lakers and Wizards are set to tip-off at 10:30 Pacific, 7:30 Eastern tonight.
