The Lakers returned from the All-Star break and they continued to lose. Team tank is in full effect and most fans just want the Lakers to secure their top five pick. The Lakers only have a one game advantage over the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves, so if they keep racking up the losses, they could increase their odds of landing the number one pick.

Kobe Bryant has one more season left in his contract, which will probably be the last of his career. At the Nike Kobe X Blackout Experience in Los Angeles, Bryant was present and he was interviewed by WNBA star Skylar Diggins.
According to our friends at Kicksologists, Kobe is determined to come back next season and he will do whatever it takes to make that happen:
We all knew Kobe would not go out like this and although Father Time seems to be catching up to the Black Mamba, he is determined to go out on his terms. No other player in the history of the NBA has the pain threshold of Bryant and if there is one player who could play one final season after all these injuries, it’s Bryant.
In a perfect world, Kobe would be hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy and then he would ride off into the sunset. However, that is highly unlikely to happen, we can only hope he’s able to stay healthy. After 19 years, it’s greedy to want one more season, but Bryant deserves it.
