After beating the Milwaukee Bucks 101-93 on Friday night, the Lakers have now won three games in a row. Surprisingly, the Lakers won three in a row in early December, but after a rough start in 2015, the players are really enjoying these victories.
Winning fixes everything and while Jeremy Lin’s time with the Lakers has been filled with turmoil, the five year veteran is finally looking comfortable on the floor. Byron Scott has taken notice of Lin’s improved play as of late. According to Mark Medina of the LA Daily News, Scott was impressed with Lin’s aggressiveness and overall play against the Bucks:
Scott and Lin have had their differences, but this three game winning streak has helped their relationship. Lin is doing everything that his head coach is asking and his aggressiveness is contagious, so his teammates are able to feed off of it. Lin has been more consistent and his recent play on the court shows he can still be an effective player in this league.
Lin finished with 14 points, six assists and five rebounds in 29 minutes of play. The Harvard product was efficient shooting the rock as well, he shot 40 percent from the field and 50 percent from long distance. Half of Lin’s points came in the fourth quarter, where the Lakers outscored the Bucks by 15 points on their way to their 16th victory of the season.
