Note: We’ll be grading the players on how well they contributed to the tank.
MVP: It was tough to pick an MVP today, but I went with Robert Sacre. He didn’t get much time on the floor, but he finished with zero rebounds. When you’re a seven footer and don’t rebound, you’re committed to the tank.
LVP: In his first game back, Jordan Hill finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Maybe Hill was upset about Arizona losing to Wisconsin? Or he could have just been happy to be on the court again. Regardless, Hill had an amazing game tonight and he did everything possible to win this game.
Stat of the Night: 21-11. The Nets shot 10 more free throws than the Lakers today and that was the biggest difference between the two teams. The Lakers played well, just a few little things didn’t go their way. Brooklyn hit 15 out of those 21 and the Lakers only hit nine.
