Note: We’ll be grading the players on how well they contributed to the tank.
MVP:Â Anthony Davis is your tank MVP, and I don’t even care if he played for the other team. He scored a game-high 20 points, grabbed seven boards, dished six assists, blocked four shots, sold three game programs, and grew a partridge in a pear tree.
LVP: You know what makes this tank great? Jordan Clarkson nearly getting a triple-double. You know what isn’t cool? Byron played him just 31 minutes in a game he finished just three rebounds shy of a triple-double. But seriously, Clarkson was great tonight and is really solidifying his case for an All-Rookie first-team selection.
Stat of the Night: 56.4%. The New Orleans Pelicans’ shooting percentage from the field. Yeah, that’s pretty good. Not many teams shoot that well and lose, and the Pelicans dominated pretty much from the get-go tonight.
