Game Grades: Lakers Beat Up On The Wolves 106-98

Note: Since the Lakers have locked up the fourth worst record in the league, the tanking is over. So back to the regular game grades, where we encourage winning.

MVP Ryan Kelly probably had the best game of his Laker career tonight. He shot the ball extremely well and finished with 21 points and seven assists. Kelly was five of six from long distance, which is why he is tonight’s MVP.

LVPWesley Johnson played 41 minutes and didn’t have much to show for it. The Lakers won the game, so it really didn’t matter in the end.

Stat of the Night: 5. All five starters were in double figures today. The Mizzou backcourt combined for 38 points and Ryan Kelly only missed once from long distance. Tarik Black had a double-double and the Lakers won by by eight. All is good.
