Kobe Bryant appreciates greatness. Bryant is always aware of other athletes dominating their respective sport. Roger Federer and Serena Williams are athletes who have earned Bryant’s praise as of late after they both performed well at Wimbledon.

The five-time NBA champion is also a fan of FC Barcelona, one of the most historic and successful soccer clubs in the world. Bryant has admitted that Barcelona is his favorite team and they are coming off a season where they won the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona is in Los Angeles as part of a summer tour in the United States and Bryant visited one of their training sessions. Here’s a pic of the team, their hardware and Bryant:
Bryant has visited with Barcelona in Spain in the past, so it makes sense that he was in attendance when they were in his back yard. Bryant was given a Barcelona jersey with his name on it and that is what he is holding in the picture. The legendary Andres Iniesta is holding a Laker Bryant jersey, which will probably go back with the club.
There’s a lot of greatness in that picture. Barcelona won the treble this past season, which is a remarkably feat. For those of you who don’t follow soccer, it means that Barcelona won La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League. It had only been done seven times before Barcelona did it this past season.
Kobe has laced up the cleats and kicked the ball around in the past, but this time he was just a spectator.
