Odom had been staying at Dennis Hof’s Bunny Ranch in Crystal, Nevada for the last few days before the woman went to check on him inside his VIP suite.

The woman found Odom unresponsive, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Desert View officials originally arraigned for Mercy Air to transport Odom from Pahrump to Las Vegas, but the helicopter could not accommodate his 6′ 10″ frame.

Instead, Odom was taken to Sunrise Hospital by ambulance for further treatment. He’s in critical condition and breathing with the assistance of machines. Odom’s heart is said to be failing while he continues to remain in a coma with his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian at his side.

Odom is among one of the more popular peers inside NBA circles, and members of the NBA community sent their prayers out via social media on Tuesday night.

Odom played for the Lakers from 2004-11 and was a member of the back-to-back championship teams in 2009 and 2010. He averaged 13.7 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists in seven seasons with the team.

In 2008, “The Goods” gracefully accepted a prominent bench role for the betterment of the team and was awarded the 2010-11 NBA Sixth Man of the Year for his remarkable versatility.

Odom was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 following the nixed Chris Paul trade, and his life has been on a downward spiral ever since. The descent included finalizing a divorce from Kardashian in July after drug and alcohol abuse strained their four-year marriage.

Odom last played in the NBA for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2013.
