Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan teamed up and raised an easy $240,100 for Kobe’s charity

During All Star Weekend, Michael Jordan gifted Kobe Bryant two sets of his complete line of 30 sneakers: an epic all white set to keep for himself and an all black set to be auctioned off on eBay for charity.

With the opening bid starting at $100,000, sneaker collectors and Jordan enthusiasts everywhere were shocked at the high price. 37 bids later, the package was sold for $240,100.

Seeing that 100 percent of the proceeds are going directly to Kobe Bryant’s charity, Michael Jordan practically made Kobe a quick $240,000.

Per eBay,

This isn’t the first pair of shoes Kobe has received as a gift on this ongoing retirement tour as DeMar DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors also gave him a special pair of sneakers, but this gift is something else entirely.

With Kobe modeling his game directly after the GOAT, Kobe and Jordan have always shared a special bond.

With that in mind, you know he’ll remember this moment when some of his students, the LeBron James and Kevin Durants, of the league start retiring.
