Sunday afternoon against the Warriors, Kobe Bryant had a distinct message for his Lakers’ teammates

In the biggest upset in NBA history, statistically speaking, Kobe Bryant proved that despite only having 20 games left in his storied career, that his competitive juices are still flowing as much as ever.

In what looks like a fan video taken from directly behind the Lakers bench during a huddle, Kobe instructs his young co-stars to “beat the sh-t out of them,” them being the Warriors.

The Lakers took the Black Mamba’s message in stride, thoroughly whooping the defending champs by 17 points, withstanding all of their runs and even providing a bit of showtime along the way.

The end is drawing near for Kobe Bryant, but it is moments like this that helps fans remember just why he is so loved, hated, and respected throughout the association.

Kobe’s retirement tour has gotten fans closer to KB24 than they have ever been before so it will be a sad day when it is finally over.

As mentioned previously, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers may be beaten but surprising performances like this show that they are far from broken.
