ICYMI, watch as the Phoenix Suns’ players stand in awe of Kobe Bryant‘s farewell performance with the Lakers

If you thought that fans were the only ones left stunned after Kobe Bryant’s amazing 60 point finale with the Los Angeles Lakers, then you were mistaken.

Via the Phoenix Suns official Twitter account, a video was posted of the Suns’ players watching the final seconds of the Lakers’ game against the Utah Jazz on April 13th, just moments after defeating the Los Angeles Clippers in their season own finale.

Among the crowd is PJ Tucker standing shirtless in front of the television, Chase Budinger who exclaims “60! Oh my God,” while holding his head in disbelief and Tyson Chandler who’s taking a video of TV trying to capture this moment forever.

Hilariously, an undisclosed voice shouts, “They won the championship,” right as Kobe tosses the ball to Jordan Clarkson for his final assist ever, followed by “oohs” and “ahhs” after the Clarkson dunk.

I am only just realizing this now, but it is fairly reminiscent of the final play of Game 7 against the Boston Celtics in the 2010 Finals, only it was Lamar Odom throwing a full court pass to Kobe who chased the ball and let the clock run out.

Though Kobe’s time is finally up, the next bit of excitement comes May 17 with the NBA Draft Lottery so be sure to tune in for that.
