Kobe Bryant recently voiced his opinion on taking the “Inside the NBA” job offered to him by Turner Sports just a month ago

Almost immediately after Kobe Bryant‘s retirement game there were already rumors that TNT reportedly reached out to The Black Mamba to give him a job offer alongside Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny “The Jet” Smith, Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson on “Inside the NBA,” but it wasn’t until now that his response to the offer was made public.

In a short video via TMZ Sports, reporters asked Kobe a series of rapid fire questions, many of which he ignored, but the best was definitely in regards to the “Inside the NBA” job offer.

When asked “Kobe, do you want the TNT job? Do you want the ‘Inside the NBA’ job,” Kobe quickly and hilariously replied, “No.”

Even before retiring, Kob made it known what his plans were for life after basketball were, so the presumed notion that TNT commentator was highly unlikely to be in his cards was confirmed in classic Kobe fashion.

This is to say, that when you Kobe ask silly questions, your answer is likely to be more Gregg Popovich in game interview than Derek Fisher New York Knicks’ motivational speech.

Reporters also pried Bean about the rumor that he would be coaching Shaquille O’Neal‘s son, Shareef this summer, saying that he would be teaching him more of his own game than Shaq’s.

It is sad to realize that since his retirement, news involving Kobe Bryant has been relatively mum but hopefully we will hear more from him when his animated short film “Dear Basketball,” hits the airwaves sometime this fall.

It’s going to be strange watching the Los Angeles Lakers suit up this upcoming season and not seeing the familiar face of KB24 on the floor but hopefully the Purple and Gold’s young stars are ready for their post-Kobe debut and proceed to take the league by storm.
