Fresh off of elimination from the playoffs, Lakers’ target Kevin Durant doesn’t want to talk about your free agency questions, and you were foolish to think he would

Almost every post-game press conference, there always seems to be one reporter in the crowd with a silly question loaded up and ready to be shot off and Monday night after the Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in a decisive game seven, it was no different.

While Durant was asked a plethora of questions, one brave member of the press asked what everybody who follows basketball is currently wondering,

if Dion Waiters will still be a member of the Thunder next year

, what KD’s plans are in free agency?

However, instead of answering how you’d expect a player who just got eliminated from playoff contention after being up three games to one in a best of seven series to answer, per Real GM, Durant kindly answered,

"I mean, we just lost like 30 minutes ago, so I haven’t even thought about itI’m just embracing my teammates and just reflecting on the season. I’ll think about that stuff, I don’t know when. But we just lost an hour ago, 30 minutes ago, so I don’t know."

In a situation like this, what else would you really expect him to say? “You can catch me next season on the Lakers?”

In spite of the reporter’s dumb question, Durant maintained composure and never lashed back at him even though people wouldn’t have faulted him if he did — if you have a chance to watch the interview look at how Russell Westbrook death stares at the guy.

In regards to KD, however, it seems more and more like that’s just the type of guy he is.

KD went on to say,

"There’s no moral victories in our locker room after the game… We’re all upset. We wanted to get a chance to play for a championship in The Finals, so that hurts. But when you sit down and look back at what happened throughout the season, you can be proud of not just the players, but everybody in the organization from the top to the bottom people that you guys don’t know or ever see contribute to what we bring out on the court."

He continued,

"That’s just pride, effort, passion, love for the game. Pure love for the game every single night, and that comes from just walking into our practice facility every single day and feeling those vibes and feeling that energy from everyone. I’m just proud of what all we’ve been through this season. We stuck together and we sacrificed for each other. That’s just what makes this game so special."

Though his first statements weren’t necessarily that encouraging to Oklahoma City fans who obviously know that he is technically an unrestricted free agent, his later comments were a little more promising.
